1. What file extensions are allowed ?

We allow .jpg .gif .html .htm .php .txt .png .css .ico .xml .js
.ttf .bmp .swf .inc .en .ini .dbf .apw .mo .tpl .sql .mo .po .pak
.gdf .wav .list .shtml .doc .odt .tbl .cfg. If you need something else, please contact us.

2. What is the maximum allowed file size ?

It is 1000kb for now. You have larger file? You can use our partner file hosting service www.HyperFileShare.com.

3. What FTP server do I need to use ?

Please use yourusername.freehyperspace.com , where yourusername replace with the username you've registered with us.

4. Can I rate your site publicly?

Remember -- FreeHyperSpace.com is giving you a favor and working our ass off 24/7 to provide you a fast & reliable hosting place. We really don't get anything in return from you. So the least you can do is give us a good rating. Thank you.

5. Do we have backups ?

Yes we do. We do the backups a few times per month. If you need more often, please do it on your own.

6. What about mail accounts ?

We do not provide POP3/SMTP email accounts. Please use some free services like Google Mail or Yahoo Mail for that. We are working on getting our own free mail service soon.

7. I did not get email from FreeHyperSpace.com.

Please check your spam folder, it might be there.

8. Can I host my own registered domain (eg. www.mydomain.com)?

Absolutely. Please upload your website first and submit a request to us with registered domain name and your current website URL. We will post some of our banners and enable your extra domain for you.

9. I want blog on my website.

We recommend you to install WordPress blog software. It is available through our application installer and it has very simple installation with a few mouse clicks. Please create database, username and password, assign database user to access your database before you run application installer. You will need this information during installation process.

10. I want forum on my website.

We recommend you to install phpBB2 software. Please create database, username and password, assign database user to access your database before you run application installer. You will need this information during installation process.

11. I want photo gallery on my website.

We recommend you to install Coppermine photo gallery software. It is also available through our application installer.

12. What FTP program do you recommend?

We recommend you to use free FTP client FileZilla.

13. What webmaster tutorials do you recommend?

13. Can I use PHP mail function?

Yes, you can. You need to contact our support via our tickets system and describe what you are going to use it for.

14. Can I have .htaccess?

Please contact our support team via our tickets system and post the lines you want to put in your .htaccess file.
